WORTHINGTON – Services for Evelyn Erstad, 94, of Worthington will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the First Covenant Church in Worthington. There will also be a service at 2 p.m. Friday at the Skandia Evangelical Free Church in rural Balaton. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today at the First Covenant Church in Worthington and also one hour prior to the services at both churches on Friday. Burial is at Skandia Cemetery, rural Balaton. Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton is entrusted with arrangements.
She died Sunday, April 21, 2013, at the South Shore Care Center in Worthington.
She was born Jan. 6, 1919, in Ruthton, to Einar and Kristi (Bjelland) Risting.
Survivors include her 13 children, Karen of Rosemount, Kenneth of Welch, Okla., Eldon of Maple Lake, Harvey of Burnsville, Ruth of Bloomington, Neil of Plymouth, Gerry of Worthington, Lois of Fulda, Carol Duve of La Jolla, Calif., Roger of Fergus Falls, Myron of Mankato, Lyle of Palatine, Ill., and Dean of Janesville, Wis.; 32 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
