Bremer announces promotions, retirement
Bremer Bank announces the promotion of Tyler Bowen to vice president, leading Bremer’s Investment, Management and Trust business for the Willmar and Marshall areas and the promotion of Beth Ritter to trust officer. Janet Vandendriessche, a 39-year veteran of Bremer and a senior vice president and relationship manager for Bremer Trust, will retire May 30.
Bowen joined Bremer in 2012 and in his new role he will oversee Bremer’s IM&T business and assist clients with all their investment management, trust administration and financial planning needs.
He has bachelor’s degrees from Southwest Minnesota State University and Winona State University and completed his master’s degree from SMSU. Bowen is an active member of the community, serving on the Kiwanis and Marshall Hoops boards and volunteers his time with the Marshall Area YMCA and Junior Achievement.
Ritter has more than 21 years of financial experience and has worked at Bremer on the Trust team for the past 17 years servicing personal trust clients. In her new role, she will manage client relationships in the Willmar and Marshall area helping them reach their financial goals. Ritter has a bachelor’s degree from Minnesota State University, Moorhead and volunteers with Western Community Action Volunteer Tax Clinic and the Holy Redeemer Church CCW Board.
“We are excited to promote Tyler to lead the IM&T business for the Willmar Charter,” said Roger Madison, president and chief executive officer for Bremer Bank Willmar Charter. “He has been a strong contributor to the business and a terrific leader in our community as well. Additionally, we look forward to having Beth move in to the Trust officer role of managing client relationships. Lastly, we celebrate Janet and her long and accomplished career at Bremer. We will miss her and wish her the very best in retirement.”
