LISMORE – Services for Roger Robert McHarg, 69, of Lismore are at 10:30 a.m. today at St. Anthony’s Church in Lismore. Burial is at St. Anthony’s Cemetery West, Lismore. Military honors accorded by the Lismore American Legion Post. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Church in Lismore. Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton is entrusted with arrangements.

He died Wednesday, June 5, 2013, at his home in Lismore of cancer.

He was born April 12, 1944, in Fulda, to Robert and Matilda Pollack McHarg. He was drafted to the United States Army on Aug. 4, 1967, and served a tour in Vietnam and was later stationed in Anchorage, Alaska. He was honorably discharged July 24, 1970.

Survivors include his wife, Paulette “Pollie” of Lismore; daughters, Carmelle of Blue Earth and Lottie Petersen of Tyler; three grandsons; and sister, Marion Kuehl of Currie.
