Crime/Accidents for July 19

MARSHALL – A report was sent to the county attorney for consideration of a second degree controlled substance crime, fifth degree controlled substance crime, DWI and fourth degree DWI charges on Marshall man, 38, in an incident reported at 5:28 a.m. Thursday on the 1200 block of East Main Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A Minneota woman, 50, was arrested and cited for fourth degree DWI in an incident reported at 12:15 a.m. Thursday, Marshall Police said. She was brought to the Law Enforcement Center, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – Loud people reported at 11:41 p.m. Wednesday at Justice Park left the park, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A theft of medication reported at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday on the 400 block of Jewett Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A Marshall man, 29, was arrested and cited for driving after cancellation and false name and date of birth to officer in an incident reported at 7:522 p.m. Wednesday on A Street, Marshall Police said. He was brought to the Law Enforcement Center, Marshall Police said.

LYND – A Marshall man, 26, was bitten by a dog and treated at the Marshall Emergency Room in an incident reported at 7:47 p.m. Wednesday at Camden State Park, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL – A black lab with a red collar was taken to animal impound in an incident reported at 7:47 p.m. Wednesday on the 1400 block of Parkside Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – Children were fighting in an assault incident reported at 6:33 p.m. Wednesday on the 1000 block of Emerald Court, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A Marshall woman, 50, was arrested on a Lyon County warrant in an incident reported at 3:57 p.m. Wednesday on the 500 block of West Lyon Street, Marshall Police said. She was brought to the Law Enforcement Center, Marshall Police said.

COTTONWOOD – A check fraud reported at 11:48 a.m. Wednesday is under investigation, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL – A lost back pack with an iPod and Barbies in it was reported at 8:16 a.m. Wednesday at Legion Field Park, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – Drivers exchanged information in an incident reported at 3:03 p.m. Wednesday on the 1000 block of East College Drive, Marshall Police said.
