FARMINGTON – Services for Steven Paul Macht, 61, of Farmington will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Lucan, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Cemetery. The Sunset Funeral and Cremation Association is caring for the family.
He died unexpectedly Sunday, July 14, 2013, at his home.
He was born April 10, 1952, in Redwood County, to Leonard and Blanche (Brakke) Macht. He served in the U.S. Army, completing basic training at Ft. Knox Ky. From there, he was stationed in Germany where he then volunteered for service in Vietnam.
Survivors include his children, Christopher of Ontario, Ore., and Kelly Wiebe of Eugene, Ore.; two grandchildren; siblings, Alan of Marshall and Lisa Buraczewski of Mequon, Wis.; and his father’s second wife, Darlene of Tracy.
