LYON?COUNTY?-?No report was in on an animal bite incident reported at 12:23 a.m. Wednesday on the 2100 block of Lyon County Road 5, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

BALATON – Parties in a harassment incident reported at 7:33 a.m. Thursday on the 300 block of South Central Avenue were counseled, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said. The incident is under investigation, the sheriff’s department said.

MARSHALL – A wallet was found in an incident reported at 8:46 p.m. Wednesday on the 300 block of Baseline Road, Marshall Police said. A letter was sent to the owner, Police said.

MARSHALL – A black and white cat was taken to animal impound in an animal complaint reported at 7:26 p.m. Wednesday on the 500 block of Locust Drive, Marshall Police said.

COTTONWOOD – An incident described as all other reported at 6:02 p.m. Wednesday on the 100 block of Lindsay Drive is under investigation, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

COTTONWOOD – A suspicious incident reported at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday is under investigation, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL – The theft of a garage door opener from a vehicle was reported at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday on the 100 block of Kathryn Avenue, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A trespass notice was served at 1:38 p.m. Wednesday on the 400 block of South 4th Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A 2010 Chevrolet driven by an Ortonville man, 65, received no damage and a parked and unattended 2004 Chevrolet that received light damage in a property damage accident reported at 1:53 p.m. Wednesday on the 1200 block of East Main Street, Marshall Police said.
