MARSHALL – Jennifer Ann Selfe, 41, of Lucan, pleaded innocent in Lyon County District Court July 30 to charges of giving a false name and date of birth to a peace officer, no vehicle insurance, no proof of insurance and driving after suspension. A complaint alleges Selfe gave a false name and date of birth to a peace officer during a traffic stop in Marshall on April 21. A trial was set for Aug. 22. A pretrial hearing was set for Aug. 12.
MARSHALL – Jack Denis Tubbs, 56, of Marshall, pleaded guilty in Lyon County District Court July 30 to charges of third degree driving while impaired, court records said. Tubbs drove with an alcohol level of .25 in Marshall on April 7, court records said. Tubbs received a stayed sentence of 180 days in jail, a $600 fine and two years probation with conditions including complete 40 hours of community service, obtain a chemical use assessment and abide by laws. Additional charges of fifth degree assault were dismissed.
MARSHALL – Darryl Beasley, 38, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court July 30 on charges of second degree controlled substance crime, fifth degree controlled substance crime and fourth degree driving while impaired. A complaint alleges Beasley possessed and drove under the influence of methamphetamines in Marshall on July 18. A hearing was set for Aug. 27.
