FULDA – Services for Orville H. Ruesch, 85, at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfingsten Immanuel Lutheran Church rural Fulda. Burial at Pfingsten Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery rural Fulda. Military honors provided by the Fulda American Legion Post 318 and VFW Post 9017. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today at the Totzke Funeral Home in Fulda and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
He died Friday, Aug.16, 2013, at the Maple Lawn Nursing Home.
He was born Sept. 27, 1927, to John and Minnie (Behr) Ruesch, in Nobles County. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War from January 1951 until October 1952.
Survivors include his wife, Valeda of Fulda; children, Angela Pane of Omaha, Neb., Lorna Bennett of Colorado Springs, Colo., Alan of Fulda, Myron of Marshall, Brenda Schilling of Adrian, Diane Spomer of Savage and Lorin of Prior Lake; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
