McVey enrolled at SJU
Adam McVey, the son of Bruce and Laurie McVey of Marshall, has enrolled at St. John’s University for the 2013-14 academic year.
Warne named to Palmer College dean’s list
Eric Warne of Marshall, a sixth trimester student in the doctor of chiropractic program at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, has been named to the dean’s list for the fifth trimester.
To be eligible for the dean’s list, a student must achieve a minimum grade point average of 3.50 in all studies for the respective term.
Buysse on summer dean’s list at NDSU
Ellen Buysse of Minneota is among the North Dakota State University students included on the 2013 summer dean’s list. She majors in microbiology.
A student must earn a 3.50 grade point average or higher and be enrolled in at least nine class credits to qualify for the summer list.
Klein receives master’s, obtains employment
Nicholas Klein received his master’s in museum administration from Eastern Illinois University May 4. Upon graduation, he accepted the position of membership manager with the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science in Albuquerque, N.M. He is the son of Stephen and Kay Klein of Marshall.
Jorgenson named to DSU spring honors list
Ronald Jorgenson of Balaton was recently named to the president’s academic honors list for the spring semester at Dakota State University in Madison, S.D.
A total of 370 full-time students qualified for the honors list. Highest honors were earned by 145 students who achieved a 4.0 grade point average; the remaining students earned a 3.5 to 3.99 average to qualify for the honors list.
Area students enrolled at CSB
Two area students have enrolled at the College of St. Benedict for the 2013-14 academic year.
Alyssa Bossuyt, the daughter of Jeff and Chanda Bossuyt of Ghent.
Claire Buysse, the daughter of Chuck and Sharon Buysse of Marshall.
Classes for fall semester began Monday.
Parker graduates from U of St. Thomas
Ryan K. Parker of Milroy has graduated from the University of St. Thomas spring 2013.
He received a bachelor’s of arts in elementary education (K-6), science and math.
