Living Word to have Rally Day Sept. 8 at Liberty Park
Rally Day services for Living Word Lutheran Church will be at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, at Liberty Park (the bandshell park). Congregants will participate in the Bible-reading program, “The Story.” “The Story” is carefully selected verses from the Bible organized chronologically from Genesis to Revelation to reveal the way the whole Bible fits together. On Rally Day, the pastors will introduce some of the “authors” so people can listen to them tell their stories. After the service, the authors will be on hand so children can ask questions and hear more of their stories. There will also be a number of games for the kids to play. LWLC invites the community to share in this event. For more information about enrolling a child in Bible education at Living Word, contact the church office at 507-337-WORD.
