SLAYTON – Services for Kenneth Everett Gleason, 93, of Slayton are at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Slayton Presbyterian Church in Slayton. Military honors accorded by the Currie American Legion Post and the Westbrook VFW Post. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. today at the Totzke Funeral Home in Slayton and also one hour prior to the services at the church on Friday. Burial is at Slayton Memorial Gardens, Slayton.
He died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at the Golden Living Center-Slayton.
He was born Feb. 10, 1920, in Valley City, N.D., to Walter and Emma (Wendt) Gleason. He enlisted in the United States Army and served as motor pool sergeant.
Survivors include his children, James of Savage, Darrell of Currie and Donald of Carver; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Violet Hudson of Mankato.
