MARSHALL – A burglary reported at 6:52 a.m. Monday on the 800 block of North 6th Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A bicycle reported found at 6:26 a.m. Monday on the 1200 block of Birch Street was returned to its owner, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A verbal argument incident reported at 8:19 p.m. Sunday on the 400 block of North 7th Street was referred to Human Services for assistance, Marshall Police said.

TRACY – An animal complaint incident was reported at 8:12 a.m. Sunday on the 200 block of East Morgan Street, Tracy Police said. No further information was available.

GARVIN – A mail box was knocked over, but not damaged, in an incident reported at 3:55 a.m. Sunday on the 500 block of 4th Street, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

LYON COUNTY – A Marshall man, 52, was arrested for third degree DWI and brought to the Law Enforcement Center in an incident reported at 2:24 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 68 and 300th St., the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

GARVIN – Loud music was reported at 12:51 a.m. Sunday on the 200 block of Sheridan Street, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL – A Marshall man, 25, was cited for no Minnesota driver’s license in a traffic related complaint incident reported at 8:49 p.m. Saturday, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

BALATON – A wallet reported found at 7:55 p.m. Saturday on the 400 block of South Lake Avenue was returned to its owner, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MINNEOTA – A suspicious incident was reported at 8:25 a.m. Saturday, Minneota Police said. No further information was available.

MARSHALL – A report was sent to the county attorney for consideration of leaving the scene of an accident and minor consumption charges on a Balaton boy, 16, and minor consumption charges on a Marshall man, 18, in a hit and run incident reported at 10:22 p.m. Friday on the 2300 block of 257th St., the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

LYON COUNTY – An Arco boy, 16, was cited for instruction permit violation and speeding in a traffic related complaint incident reported at 8:41 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 23 and Lyon County Road 74, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

LYND – A report was sent to the Lynd city attorney for consideration of mistreating animals and dog at large charges on two Lynd men, ages 39 and 18, and a Lynd woman, 41, in an incident reported at 7:59 p.m. Friday on the 300 block of West Railroad Street, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

TRACY – An animal complaint incident was reported at 7:44 p.m. Friday on the 300 block of 8th Street, Tracy Police said. No further information was available.

Accidents

MARSHALL – Drivers exchanged information in a property damage accident reported at 3:07 p.m. Sunday on the 1200 block of East Main Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A 2002 Chevrolet driven by a Marshall man, 36, received light damage and a 2003 Chevrolet driven by a Marshall woman, 65, received moderate damage in a property damage accident reported at 1:41 p.m. Sunday on the 400 block of Jewett Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A 1998 Chevrolet driven by a Marshall man, 55, received severe damage when it struck an evergreen tree in a property damage accident reported at 9:19 a.m. Sunday on the 300 block of West Main Street, Marshall Police said. The tree also received severe damage, Police said.
