PREP TENNIS: Tigers fall to Trojans

MARSHALL – The Marshall Tigers picked up two match wins in its 5-2 dual loss to Worthington Thursday.

Jenna Gannot picked up a win for the Tigers in her singles match. She defeated Emily Williamson winning two of three sets. In doubles, Rachel Landmark and Brittany Soupir took a two set victory over Annie Lesner and Brianna Kempema.

The Tigers will compete again this weekend against the New Ulm Eagles.

Minnewaska 7, Yellow Med. East 0

The Yellow Medicine East tennis team was shut out by Minnewaska Thursday night. Despite its best efforts, YME struggled to pull-out a victory in the singles and doubles matches. The Sting will be back on the court Monday when they take on Redwood Valley.
