Courts for Sept. 16
MARSHALL – Therman Lee Hall, 51, of Minneapolis, pleaded innocent in Lyon County District Court Sept. 10 to two counts of predatory offender – failure to register address. A complaint alleges Hall failed to register his change of address when he moved to Marshall in July. A trial date was set for Nov. 14. A pretrial hearing was set for Nov. 5.
MARSHALL – Charyl Rae Maeyaert, 45, of Lucan, appeared in Lyon County District Court Sept. 10 on charges of issuing dishonored checks. A complaint alleges Maeyaert issued more than $900 in dishonored checks in Marshall in December and January. A hearing was set for Sept. 24.
MARSHALL – Modesto Moreno, 25, of Lynd, pleaded guilty in Lyon County District Court Sept. 10 to charges of first degree burglary, court records said. Moreno assaulted a man and stole property from his home in Lyon County on Oct. 22, court records said. A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered, and a sentencing hearing was set for Oct. 29.
MARSHALL – Daniel Cano-Lozoya, 33, of Marshall, pleaded innocent in Lyon County District Court Sept. 10 to charges of aggravated forgery, driving after cancellation and having no proof of insurance. A complaint alleges Cano-Lozoya used another person’s identity to gain employment in Marshall between 2005 and 2013. A trial date was set for Nov. 14, and a pretrial hearing was set for Nov. 5.
