PREP FOOTBALL WEEK 4 PREVIEW: A snapshot of this week’s other area matchups



Class A No. 6-ranked Adrian enters tonight’s game with a 22-5 overall record since 2011. During that same span, Russell-Tyler-Ruthon, which is 4-17 overall, has dropped 12 of its last 13 games since 2012.

The Dragons are led by Jordan Dingmann, who has rushed for 541 yards and eight touchdowns, and John Dillon, who has gained 255 yards on the ground. … Logan Rogers is 14 of 20 for 221 passing yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions. … Cody Polzine has made seven receptions for 84 yards.

The winner of this game will likely be tied with Adrian for first place in the conference standings, if the Dragons were to defeat Russell-Tyler-Ruthton tonight.

Lakeview is looking to win its second game of 2013 when it hosts winless Lac Qui Parle Valley tonight. The Lakers last won more than one game in a season in 2010, when they went 4-5.

Seth Goepferich has thrown for 381 yards with three touchdowns and five interceptions to lead Lakeview. … Cody St. Aubin is the Lakers’ top rusher after gaining 138 yards on 37 carries. … Goepferich has three targets in Christopher Berg (nine receptions, 112 yards), Anthony Bossuyt (six receptions, 141 yards, two touchdowns) and Jacob Neu (six receptions, 40 yards). … Jaden Hoffman and Juan Garcia have also caught TD passes. … Neu adds 70 rushing yards, while Garrett Wee has 87 yards and a rushing touchdown.


Murray County Central is looking to go above the .500 mark at MACCRAY tonight. The Rebels have not had a winning season since 2009, when MCC went 7-4.
