HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Jack Zummach went to be with his Lord and Savior at his home in Hot Springs, Ark., on Sept. 30, 2013, following a battle with cancer.
Jack was born Nov. 16, 1937, in Ortonville to Lester and Myrtle Zummach. Following graduation from Ortonville High School in 1955, he served four years in the USAF. In 1957 he married the love of his life, Nancy Kerstein, with whom he shared 56 joyous years.
Jack was a member of the IBEW Union 292 and 343 and was past commander of the American Legion in Marshall. He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time with family and dear friends.
Jack is survived by his wife Nancy; daughter Donna Farrell of Wichita Falls, Texas; son Gene Zummach and wife Pat of Rochester; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Kenneth and Orville Zummach and sister, Katherine Mulligan.
A memorial service will take place in Clinton, Minn., at a later date.
