Vehicle used in Borch’s theft taken to St. Paul

The vehicle used in the theft of firearms from Borch’s Sport Goods in Marshall on Tuesday has been transported to the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension office in St. Paul, Marshall Police Chief Rob Yant said Friday.

Yant said no further information was available Friday and that the incident remains under investigation.

The theft was reported at 2:41 a.m. Wednesday. Police found an undetermined number of firearms stolen. The vehicle, which police confirmed was stolen in Worthington, was driven through the front door of the store.
