LAKE ALEXANDER – Services for Donald William Molde, 77, of Lake Alexander will be at noon Wednesday at Bethany Lutheran Church in Cushing with visitation starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Randall. Brenny Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services.
He died Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at his lake home.
Don was born in Little Falls on Sept. 18, 1936, to Mildred (Dewey) and William Molde. He graduated from Little Falls High School in 1954, and St. Cloud State College in 1958. He obtained his master of music education degree and McPhail College of Music in 1966.
Don taught instrumental music and business classes in Cottonwood from 1958-1960. His teaching career spanned 34 years, the last 30 in the Osseo School System. Don was married to Darline Miller in 1960 at St. Lucas Lutheran Church in Cottonwood and to this union two children were born, Deborah and Mark.
Left to cherish is memory are his wife, Darline; daughter, Deb Johnson; four grandchildren; one brother, Howard Molde; mother-in-law, Arline Pasche of Marshall; brothers-in-law, Lee Miller of Cottonwood and Scott Miller of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Mark Donald Molde.
