Crime/accidents for Dec. 19
MARSHALL – The owner of a large box with contents found at 7:55 p.m. Tuesday on the 100 block of East Main Street was contacted, Marshall Police said.
COTTONWOOD – Parties in a verbal argument reported at 7:19 p.m. Tuesday on North Barstad Road were separated, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.
MARSHALL – A juvenile matter reported at 5:54 p.m. Tuesday on the 200 block of Stephen Avenue was referred to Human Services, Marshall Police said.
LYON COUNTY – A criminal sexual conduct incident reported at 2:21 p.m. Tuesday is under investigation, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.
MARSHALL – A report was sent to the county attorney for consideration of theft charges on a Marshall boy, 17, in an incident reported at 9:39 a.m. Tuesday on Tiger Drive, Marshall Police said.
LYON COUNTY – An Eagan man was injured in a one-vehicle crash reported at 2:08 p.m. Tuesday on Minnesota Highway 19, the Minnesota State Patrol said. A 2001 Pontiac driven by Andrew Kruse, 20, of Eagan was traveling east on Highway 19 when it lost control on an icy curve, the State Patrol said. The vehicle crossed into the westbound lane, entered the north ditch, and rolled, the State Patrol said. Kruse was taken to Avera Marshall Medical Center with non life-threatening injures, the State Patrol said.
MARSHALL – A 2010 Chevrolet driven by a Montevideo man, 23, and a parked and unattended 2004 Chevrolet both received light damage in a property damage accident reported at 12:48 p.m. Tuesday on the 700 block of Nuese Lane, Marshall Police said.
