Crime/accidents for Jan. 17

MARSHALL – A Marshall man, 43, was arrested for fourth degree DWI and brought to the Law Enforcement Center in an incident reported at 1:02 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Saratoga Street and Robert Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A Lucan woman, 51, was arrested for second degree DWI and brought to the Law Enforcement Center in an incident reported at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday on Minnesota Highway 19, Marshall Police said.

LYON COUNTY – A Marshall man, 45, was arrested for intent to escape motor vehicle tax, no proof of insurance and seatbelt violation, and was brought to the Law Enforcement Center, in a traffic related complaint incident reported at 5:24 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 14 and 320th Avenue, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL – An incident reported at 4:36 p.m. Wednesday on the 1300 block of Birch Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

LYON COUNTY – A report was sent to the county attorney for consideration of predatory offender – failure to register charges on a Marshall man, 20, in an incident reported at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL – An incident reported at 2:04 p.m. Wednesday was handled by Human Services, Marshall Police said.

Accidents

MARSHALL – A 2004 Ford driven by a Cottonwood man, 21, and a 2007 Buick driven by a Marshall woman, 52, both received moderate damage in a property damage accident reported at 5:34 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of West Marshall Street and North 3rd Street, Marshall Police said.

LYON COUNTY – A report is not yet complete on a property damage accident reported at 1:56 p.m. Wednesday on Lyon County Road 5, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.
