MARSHALL – The theft of boots was reported at 11:40 a.m. Thursday at the Marshall Area YMCA, Marshall Police said. The boots were located and returned to the owner, Police said.

MARSHALL – A vehicle mirror was broken in a damage to property incident reported at 5:25 p.m. Thursday on the 1200 block of East Main Street, Marshall Police said. The incident is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A Porter man, 41, was cited for no Minnesota driver’s license in an incident reported at 6:27 p.m. Thursday on the intersection of West Redwood Street and College Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A Bird Island man, 24, turned himself in on a Lyon County warrant in an incident reported at 6:49 p.m. Thursday in Marshall, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A vehicle was keyed in an incident reported at 8:32 p.m. Thursday on the 1200 block of East Main Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A verbal warning was issued for loud noise in an incident reported at 10:05 p.m. Thursday on the 1200 block of East College Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A report is being sent to the county attorney for consideration of tobacco violation charges on a Marshall boy, 15, in an incident reported at 10:19 p.m. Thursday on the intersection of 4th Street and Southview Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A Marshall woman, 23, was cited for a loud and noisy gathering in an incident reported at 10:23 p.m. Thursday on the 500 block of Village Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A Marshall woman, 33, was cited for driving after suspension and no proof of insurance in an incident reported at 10:43 p.m. Thursday on the intersection of Southview Drive and DeSchepper Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A Felch, Mich. man, 42, was arrested for third degree DWI and brought to the Law Enforcement Center in an incident reported at 11:06 p.m. Thursday on the 1000 block of East College Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A Tracy man, 34, was arrested and cited for DWI and brought to the Law Enforcement Center in an incident reported at 1:43 a.m. Friday on the intersection of East College Drive and Market Street, Marshall Police said.

BALATON – A Balaton man, 32, was arrested and cited for driving after revocation and brought to the Law Enforcement Center in an incident reported at 12:30 p.m. Thursday on the 100 block of North Lake Avenue, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

GHENT – Check fraud reported at 3:17 p.m. Thursday on the 3200 block of Lyon County Road 5 is under investigation, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.
