BOYS BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Vikings top Panthers on Harrison’s 3-point play

TRACY – Daniel Harrison scored the game-tying basket and hit the go-ahead free throw with seven seconds left as Minneota defeated Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Tuesday night 79-78.

Harrison finished with 26 points and seven rebounds to lead the Vikings.

Jordan Beck scored 20 points and Dylan Tolk added 15 points for Minneota/Lincoln HI.

Josh Kirk scored 27 points to lead Tracy-Milroy-Balaton.

The two teams entered the game tied in the Camden South.

MONTEVIDEO – Class A No. 4-ranked Dawson-Boyd remained undefeated as the Blackjacks held off Montevideo 56-49 on Tuesday night.

Joey and Michael Lee led Dawson-Boyd with 19 points each.

Michael Lee also grabbed 18 rebounds in the win. Montevideo had 12 rebounds as a team.

Bock pulled down a game-high 18 rebounds and had three steals.

Springfield had Tyler Vogel put in 22 points to go with 13 from Carter Erickson and Cooper Scheffler put in 12 points.

LAMBERTON – Murray County Central shot 57 percent from the floor as they cruised to an 86-48 victory in Red Rock Conference boys basketball action against Red Rock Central Tuesday in Lamberton.

Jaden Boerboom drained 6 of 7 baskets from behind the arc to pitch in 18 points for the Rebels, while Grant Rohrer contributed 22 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Logan Kluis dropped in 15 points and dished out five assists in the win, while Grant Everson added eight points and eight assists.

Thomas Blomgren and Trevor Pederson led the Falcons with 15 and 14 points, respectively. Blomgren also collected five rebounds and two steals, while Austin Price had seven points and four assists.

On Friday, Red Rock is at Ellsworth while MCC hosts Adrian.
