A Summary of the Proceedings of the Lyon County Board
9:00 a.m. pursuant to notice the Lyon County Commissioners met with the following members present: Commissioners Anderson, Sanow, Ritter, Goodenow and Stensrud. Also present: County Administrator Stomberg, Attorney Maes.
MSP to approve the agenda.
MSP to approve the consent agenda.
MSP to approve the Cottonwood Country Club liquor license renewal.
MSP to approve the 2013 Annual County Feedlot Officer Report.
MSP to approve the minimum salaries for elected official for 2015 as follows: County Attorney $76,675, County A/T $63,800, County Recorder $55,300, County Sheriff $76,675, Commissioner $18,150.
MSP to approve the MN Public Sector Collaborative contract.
MSP to designate the County website as the official posting place for transportation projects and listed in the official newspaper as directed by the State Auditor.
MSP to approve the working out of class for Mark Volz for an increase of pay of $1.50/hour effective January 21, 2014.
MSP to approve supporting the STS contract through June 30, 2015. Motion passed with Commissioners Anderson, Goodenow, Ritter and Stensrud voting in favor. Commissioner Sanow abstained from voting due to a conflict of interest.
MSP to accept resignation of Parks Worker Mark Swenson effective January 22, 2014.
MSP to allow Anderson to remove snow at the Parks if needed in the event of a snow storm.
MSP to accept the resignation of Dispatcher Deb Walter.
MSP to approve HR to advertise to fill the Dispatcher position.
MSP made to set the reimbursement rate at $.15 below IRS rate for personal vehicle use when there is a County vehicle available.
MSP to approve the A/T to pay the difference of the down payment for the hoop barn to the Ag Society and that the bill and contract is shown to the Board.
The Board recessed at 11:35 a.m. until the strategic planning meeting at 1:00 p.m.
MSP to adjourn at 2:03 p.m.
