BELVIEW – Services for Hilbert Herman Zuehlsdorf, 93, of Belview will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Visitation will then continue one hour prior to services at the church Friday. Burial is in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Sheridan Township. Stephens Funeral Service – Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at Parkview Home in Belview.

He was born Aug. 9, 1920, on the family farm in Sheridan Township to August and Selma (Muetzel) Zuehlsdorf. He served in the U.S. Navy Seabees during WWII, and received his honorable discharge on June 12, 1946.

Survivors include his wife Erma; children: Carolyn Bernard of Mankato, Janet Barckholtz of Bemidji, Allan Zuehlsdorf of Belview and Donna Beadell of Wabasso; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sister Lorena Strandmark of Bloomington; and brother Donald of Belview.
