SLAYTON – Services for Charles “Chuck” Henry Terry, 81, of Slayton will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ Lutheran Church in Slayton. Military honors accorded by the Slayton American Legion Post and the Slayton VFW Post. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Christ Lutheran Church in Slayton and also one hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Totzke Funeral Home of Slayton is entrusted with arrangements.
He died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014, at Our House Hospice Home in Slayton.
He was born Oct. 4, 1932, in Slayton, to Henry “Pop” and Florence Kuhlman Terry. In 1953, he was drafted into the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in 1955.
Survivors include his wife, Beatrice “Tootie” of Slayton; children, Kim of Ashland, Wis., Curtis and Pattie of Seattle, Wash., Kristin Martin of Lakeville and Kelly Marquardt of Lindstrom; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, John of Wyoming, Minn.
