Crime/accidents for Feb. 21
LYON COUNTY – A Sioux Falls, S.D. woman was cited for no insurance and her vehicle was towed in an incident reported at 2:07 a.m. Thursday on Minnesota Highway 23, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.
MARSHALL – A juvenile matter reported at 8:49 a.m. Wednesday in Marshall is under investigation, Marshall Police said.
MARSHALL – No report is in on a school bus stop arm violation reported at 11:12 a.m. on the 500 block of South 4th Street, Marshall Police said.
MARSHALL – A firearm was taken for safekeeping in an incident reported at 11:14 a.m. Wednesday on the 1500 block of Carlson Street, Marshall Police said.
MARSHALL – A Redwood Falls woman, 23, was arrested on a Redwood County warrant and released to Redwood County in an incident reported at 1:56 p.m. Wednesday on Main Street, Marshall Police said.
MARSHALL – A juvenile matter reported at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday in Marshall is being handled by Human Services, Marshall Police said.
MARSHALL – A report is being sent to the county attorney for consideration of domestic assault, damage to property, violation of court order and probation violation charges on a Marshall man, 43, in an incident reported at 2:38 p.m. Wednesday on the 500 block of West Main Street, Marshall Police said.
REDWOOD COUNTY – An Echo man and an Ivanhoe man were injured in a personal injury accident reported at 3:07 p.m. Wednesday on the intersection of Minnesota Highway 68 and Redwood County Road 13, the Minnesota State Patrol said. A 1992 Buick Century driven by Tyler Caspers of Echo was demolished, and a 2008 Dodge driven by Benjamin Jerzak of Ivanhoe was also demolished, Patrol said. Both drivers were taken to the Redwood Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, Patrol said. The Morgan Police Department, Morgan Fire and Rescue, Morgan Ambulance and North Memorial responded to the crash.
