Marshall man arrested in Saturday crash

MARSHALL – A 22-year-old Marshall man was arrested Saturday in a one-vehicle crash in Marshall, Marshall Police said in a news release.

At 9:30 p.m. Saturday, the Marshall Police Department was dispatched to a one-car crash at the 400 block of South 4th Street, Police said.

Upon the officers arrival, two male occupants were found unconscious and unresponsive. Both occupants were transported to the Marshall emergency room, Police said. The driver of the vehicle was airlifted to Sioux Falls S.D. for further treatment. The passenger has unknown injuries at the time of the release, Police said.

Alcohol use is suspected in this case, Police said. The driver was arrested for criminal vehicular injury and other related charges.

The case remains under investigation.
