Stefanick included on Normandale Community College fall dean’s list

Shawn Stefanick of Tracy has been included on Normandale Community College’s fall 2013 semester dean’s list. Students must be enrolled in at least nine credits and have achieved a grade point average of at least 3.5 for courses completed in the spring semester ending this past May.

Minnesota West places at Minnesota Business Professionals of America College Division

Minnesota West Community and Technical students from the Jackson and Granite Falls campuses participated in the Minnesota Business Professionals of America College Division 2014 Spring Leadership Conference in Alexandria.

Minnesota West students were joined by more than 150 other conference delegates from across the state to participate in general sessions and competitions. All of the Minnesota West students placed and are eligible to attend the National Leadership Conference April 30-May 4 in Indianapolis, Ind.

“Minnesota West Community and Technical College continues to offer a world class education as evidenced by the outstanding results achieved by the students on a continual basis at state and national competitions,” said Granite Falls campus BPA adviser Leslie Bauman. “I am very proud of this group of students. They are very dedicated and are very excited to showcase their educational skills at nationals.”

Harmening named to Buena Vista University dean’s list

Meghan Harmening of Marshall was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at Buena Vista University. Students named to the dean’s list must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 for the semester based on a 4.0 grade point system and must have taken at least 12 hours of coursework.
