Crime report for March 14

MARSHALL – A parked and unattended 2012 Ford received damage when struck by an unknown vehicle in a hit-and-run incident reported at 7:59 a.m. Thursday on the 100 block of South 5th Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A vehicle was ransacked in an incident reported at 7:23 a.m. Friday on the 1100 block of Washington Avenue, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – Fraud reported at 2:35 p.m. Thursday on the 100 block of West Main Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A Marshall man, 36, was cited for instruction permit violation in an incident reported at 3:24 p.m. Thursday on Bruce Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A Balaton man, 19, was cited for exhibition driving, and a report is being sent to the county attorney for consideration of exhibition driving charges on a Marshall boy, 16, in an incident reported at 5:27 p.m. Thursday at the Lyon County Fairgrounds, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A report is being sent to the county attorney for consideration of theft and receiving stolen property charges on a Marshall man, 24, in an incident reported at 5:50 p.m. Thursday on the 1400 block of Carlson Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A juvenile matter is being sent to the county attorney for consideration of charges in an incident reported at 9:02 p.m. Thursday on the 1200 block of East Main Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A Marshall man, 20, was cited for minor consumption; a Marshall man, 22, was cited for loud and noisy gathering; a Marshall woman, 19, was cited for minor consumption and loud and noisy gathering; and a Marshall woman was cited for loud and noisy gathering and minor consumption in an incident reported at 1:02 a.m. Thursday on the 100 block of A Street, Marshall Police said.
