A Summary of the Proceedings of the Lyon County Board

9:00 a.m. pursuant to notice the Lyon County Commissioners met with the following members present: Commissioners Anderson, Sanow, Ritter, Goodenow and Stensrud. Also present: County Administrator Stomberg, Attorney Maes.

MSP to approve the agenda with the removal of it #15.

MSP to approve the Consent Agenda.

MSP to allocate 90% of $198,000 to the City of Marshall of Legacy dollars to build the section of the trail for the Redwood River Diversion Channel and the remaining of the money will be used to purchase the land by Savannah Oaks.

MSP to approve the CUP for Todd and Curt Boerboom. Motion carried with Commissioners Goodenow, Ritter, Sanow and Stensrud voting in favor. Commissioner Anderson abstained from voting due to a conflict of interest.

MSP to approve the CUP for Kent and Denise Weedman.

MSP to approve the purchase of the new tilt bed trailer from Boulton Trailers for a cost of $4,840.

MSP to accept the resignation of Colleen Louwagie.

MSP to approve the hiring of Hannah MacArthur as a Tech 1 based on the eligibility list of other positions interviewed, to start on or before February 24.

MSP to approve the 2014 summer help hire request as listed.

MSP to advertise and hire and Assistant Engineer and Senior Engineering Technician.

MSP to approve planning the retreat on April 8 with AMC and cover the cost of the retreat plus additional expenses.

The Board recessed from 11:00 a.m. until the Architect interviews at 1:30 p.m.

MSP to hire Vetter Johnson for the Court remodel and to have the Administrator negotiate the space study.

MSP to adjourn the meeting at 4:34 p.m.
