Crime/Accidents for March 25

MARSHALL – Damage to a sign was reported at 3:54 a.m. Monday on the 700 block of South Saratoga Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A family situation reported at 12:09 a.m. Monday on the 1300 block of Birch Street was referred to Human Services, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A verbal argument was reported at 11:21 p.m. Sunday on the 1100 block of Birch Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A Marshall man, 31, was arrested for domestic assault, fifth degree assault and disorderly conduct, and brought to the Law Enforcement Center, in an incident reported at 8:15 p.m. Sunday on the 200 block of North Hill Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A verbal warning was given for loud music reported at 5:27 p.m. Sunday on the 100 block of East Main Street, Marshall Police said.

TRACY – An animal complaint incident was reported at 4:53 p.m. Sunday on the 400 block of Rowland Street, Tracy Police said. No further information was available.

LYON COUNTY – A Willmar man, 24, was cited for open container in a traffic related complaint incident reported at 1:07 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Lyon County Road 10 and U.S. Highway 59, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL – A burglary reported at 8:19 p.m. Saturday on the 2300 block of 310th Street is under investigation, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

LYON COUNTY – A Sioux Falls, S.D., man, 25, was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in an incident reported at 10:57 a.m. Saturday on the 3400 block of Minnesota Highway 23, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

COTTONWOOD – A Cottonwood woman, 33, was cited for having no Minnesota driver’s license in a traffic related complaint incident reported at 8:51 p.m. Friday on West 1st Street, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

TRACY – An animal complaint incident was reported at 3:03 p.m. Friday on the 300 block of 8th Street, Marshall Police said. No further information was available.

Accidents

MARSHALL – A Tyler resident was injured in a crash reported at 3:43 a.m. Monday, Marshall Police said. A 2006 Chevrolet driven by a Tyler man, 56, received severe damage in the crash, Police said. The driver went to the hospital by ambulance to be checked out, Police said.

MARSHALL – A 1998 Buick driven by a Taunton girl, 16, was destroyed and a tree and well pump were damaged in a property damage accident reported at 8:44 p.m. Saturday on the 3000 block of Minnesota Highway 68, Marshall Police said.
