NCAA VOLLEYBALL: Mustangs to host Bragg Invitational

MARSHALL – The Southwest Minnesota State University volleyball team will host the Dick Bragg Spring Volleyball Tournament on Saturday at the P.E. Gym and the R/A Facility in Marshall. The event is free and open to the public.

Along with SMSU, other teams competing in the tournament are Augustana, Concordia-St. Paul, Minnesota State, Sioux Falls and South Dakota State.

Each team will play four rounds, facing each team in the tournament once. Each match will last two sets and be played to 25 points.

Round 1, which begins at 10 a.m., features the Mustangs versus the Jackrabbits at the P.E. Gym, the Cougars versus the Golden Bears at R/A Court 1 and the Vikings versus the Mavericks. Round 2, which begins at 11:15 a.m., includes the Mustangs versus the Vikings at the P.E. Gym, the Jackrabbits versus the Cougars at R/A Court 1 and the Golden Bears versus the Marvericks at R/A Court 2.

Round 3, which begins at 12:30 p.m., features the Mustangs versus the Golden Bears at the P.E. Gym, the Vikings versus the Jackrabbits at R/A Court 1 and the Mavericks versus the Cougars at R/A Court 2. Round 4, which begins at 1:45 p.m., the Mustangs versus the Mavericks at the P.E. Gym, the Cougars versus the Vikings at R/A Court 1 and the Golden Bears versus the Jackrabbits at R/A Court 2.
