Crime/accidents for April 3

MARSHALL – A verbal argument was reported at 10:50 a.m. Tuesday on the 500 block of Village Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – Identity theft was reported at 11:04 a.m. Tuesday on the 200 block of East Redwood Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A wallet was reported lost at 1:49 p.m. Tuesday on Marshall Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A gas drive off was reported at 4:22 p.m. Tuesday on the 300 block of East College Drive, Marshall Police said. The owner was contacted and returned to the scene to pay, Police said.

MARSHALL – A wallet was reported stolen at 5:14 p.m. Tuesday on West Main Street near Car Toyz, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A report was sent to the county attorney for consideration in a juvenile matter reported at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday on Horizon Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A Marshall man, 24, was arrested and cited for shoplifting in an incident reported at 5:38 p.m. Tuesday on the 1200 block of Susan Drive, Marshall Police said.

GHENT – A Tracy man, 36, was arrested and cited for driving after revocation and possession of drug paraphernalia in a traffic related incident reported at 6 p.m. Tuesday on Burlingame Street, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL – A Marshall man, 22, was arrested on a Minnesota Department of Corrections warrant and brought to the Law Enforcement Center in an incident reported at 6:28 p.m. Tuesday on the 600 block of West Main Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – Medication was reported stolen at 8:16 p.m. Tuesday on the 1200 block of Patricia Court, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – Loud people and a vehicle was reported at 9:07 p.m. Tuesday on the 1200 block of East Main Street, Marshall Police said. When police arrived all was quiet.

Accidents

MARSHALL – A 2007 Hyundai driven by a Marshall woman, 39, received moderate damage and a 2007 Mercury driven by a Marshall woman, 35, received moderate damage in a property damage accident reported at 8:22 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of East Lyon Street and B Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A Tyler woman was injured in a crash reported at 2:09 p.m. Tuesday on Jewett Street near the Market Street Mall, Marshall Police said. A 1996 Buick driven by Judith VanWinkle, of Tyler, received light damage, and a 2004 Chrysler driven by a Marshall woman, 35, received moderate damage, Police said. VanWinkle went to the hospital on her own, Police said.
