Crime/accidents for April 4

MARSHALL – Theft of a cellular phone was reported at 4:56 a.m. Thursday on the 1400 block of East College Drive, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A theft reported at 4:22 p.m. Wednesday on the 700 block of West Erie Road is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – The subjects of a harassment incident reported at 4:04 p.m. Wednesday on the 1300 block of Greenview Place were counseled, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A Tyler man, 44, was arrested on a Minnesota Department of Corrections warrant and brought to the Law Enforcement Center in an incident reported at 3:48 p.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 59, Marshall Police said.

TAUNTON – Theft of auto parts was reported at 3:46 p.m. Wednesday on the 300 block of West 1st Street, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL – A child reported lost at 3:09 p.m. Wednesday on the 1300 block of Birch Street was found, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A fraud incident reported at 3:01 p.m. Wednesday on the 700 block of Oak Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A Buffalo Lake man, 30, was arrested on a Minnesota Department of Corrections warrant and brought to the Law Enforcement Center in an incident reported at 10:18 a.m. Wednesday on the 1200 block of Birch Street, Marshall Police said.

LYND – A 2008 Dodge struck a deer in a property damage accident reported at 12:29 a.m. Thursday on Minnesota Highway 23, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.
