MARSHALL – Services for Madeline Blomme, 94, of Marshall, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Rehkamp-Horvath Funeral Home in Marshall. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Marshall.
Madeline died Thursday, April 3, 2014, at the Golden Living Center in Franklin.
Madeline Elizabeth (DeCrock) Blomme was born Nov. 24, 1919, in Sodus Township to Archie and Leona (Phillips) DeCrock. She attended grade school at St. Joseph Academy. On Nov. 16, 1938, she was united in marriage to Henry Blomme at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall. They lived in the Green Valley and Marshall area and had one son, James, of Marshall. Madeline was formerly employed by Dental Arts, Midplane Gas Co., La Vogue Fashion and Wee Moderns. Her enjoyment was her family and friends. She enjoyed square dancing and playing cards.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law JoEllen Blomme of Marshall, grandchildren Todd (and Debra), Tim (and Kathryn), Tom, Tina (and Jeff) Nielsen, and Troy (and Rhonda); 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry, son James, brothers Edmond and Lucien and sister Alice.
