Seifert wins vote of College Republicans

MARSHALL – During its annual state convention in Minneapolis, Minnesota’s College Republicans supported Marty Seifert in a gubernatorial preference vote held among the delegates. Representing more than a dozen colleges and universities from across the state, the first-place finish by Seifert is an indication of his support among young people in both the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota.

Since announcing his statewide campaign in November, Seifert has visited with college students from numerous campuses, including: St. Cloud State University, Bemidji State University, University of Minnesota Duluth, University of Minnesota Twin Cities, St. Thomas University, University of Northwestern St. Paul, Concordia University St. Paul, Minnesota State University Mankato, Minnesota State University Moorhead, Winona State University, St. Mary’s University, Carleton College, Gustavus Adolphus College, Bethel University and Southwest Minnesota State University.

Some two dozen college students volunteer or intern for the Seifert campaign on a weekly basis. To find out more about internships with Seifert’s gubernatorial campaign in the late spring, summer and fall, visit www.SeifertforGovernor.com.
