Warren Tenhoff

BALATON – Services for Warren Tenhoff, 90, of Balaton will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Balaton United Methodist Church in Balaton. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in the Lakeside Cemetery in Balaton, with a luncheon served in the church social hall immediately following the burial. The Almlie Funeral Home of Balaton is handling the arrangements.

He died Sunday, April 27, 2014, at the Avera Marshall Regional Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 6, 1923, to Charles and Ruth (Holten) Tenhoff in Tyler, Lincoln County. In 1943, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served until 1946, when he returned to Minnesota.

Survivors include his daughter, Carol Miller of Sauk Rapids; son, Thomas of Mission Viejo, Calif.; three grandchildren; and sister, Harriet Mason of Portland, Ore.
