Crime/Accidents for May 10

MARSHALL – A Marshall man, 25, was arrested for DWI and driving after suspension, and was brought to the Law Enforcement Center, in an incident reported at 1:10 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Main Street and A Street, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – Slashed vehicle tires were reported at 11:16 p.m. Thursday on the 100 block of Redwood Street, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

LYND – The subjects of a harassment incident reported at 10:36 p.m. Thursday on the 100 block of St. Albans Street were counseled, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL – A search warrant was executed in an incident reported at 6:47 p.m. Thursday on the 500 block of East Main Street, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

GHENT – A report is not yet complete on a check fraud incident reported at 5:08 p.m. Thursday on the 1800 block of 300th St., the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

MARSHALL – An incident reported at 2:58 p.m. Thursday on Tiger Drive is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MARSHALL – A theft incident reported at 2:58 p.m. Thursday on the 1200 block of East Main Street is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

MINNEOTA – A theft incident was reported at 11:22 a.m. Thursday on the 700 block of North Madison Street, Minneota Police said. No further information was available.

MARSHALL – A fraud incident reported at 10:10 a.m. Thursday on the 600 block of Village Drive is under investigation, Marshall Police said.

COTTONWOOD – The subjects of a fraud incident reported at 9:27 a.m. Thursday on the 3500 block of 310th Ave. were counseled and advised, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.

GARVIN – A property damage accident reported at 12:17 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 14 and U.S. Highway 59 was handled by the Minnesota State Patrol, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Department said.
