TRACY – Brady Lanoue delivered a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh to lead Tracy-Milroy-Balaton to a 3-2 win over Minneota/Lincoln HI on Friday.

It was the second hit of the game for Lanoue, who finished 2-for-3 with a run scored in addition to the game-winning RBI.

Taylor Carlson pitch a solid effort from the mound for the Panthers, striking out ten and allowing just two runs on two hits.

Andrew Behnke went 2-for-3 with a double to lead the Vikings. Brock Buysse also went 2-for-3, scoring one of the Vikings two runs.

DANUBE – Renville County West defeated Minneota/Canby/Lincoln HI 5-4 and 8-7 in a double header Friday as the two teams wrapped up their regular season schedule. In game one, Carli Krogman lead the team offensively with a double and an RBI. The Jaguars also got RBI from Nora Kronlokken and Malerie Thompson. Brittany Harazin also added a hit.

Jenna Kockelman and Brook Bauman were the RBI sources for the Vikings as Bauman dropped in two RBI to go with one from Kockelman. MCL also got two hits each from Becca and Riki Kallhoff and one from Holly Hayden.

Cassidy Fransen picked up the pitching win in game one while Brook Bauman was saddled with the loss.

In game two, the Jaguars got two RBI from Kronlokken and one from Thompson. Ricki Kallhoff and Kockelman provided the RBI in game two. Kockelman’s came on an inside the park home run.

Fransen took the win and Becca Kallhoff suffered the loss. Renville County West moves to 10-9 on the year and takes on BOLD at Dawson on Tuesday. MCL falls to 7-10 and will be the No. 7 seed in the Class 3AA playoffs on Tuesday as they get No. 2 seed Morris Area-Chokio/Alberta.

WINDOM – Red Rock Central/WWG suffred an 11-1 loss at the hands of Windom Area in the 3A playoffs Friday. Meghan Vesey lead Windom Area with two RBI and scored three runs. Alyssa Fast added two hits for the Eagles.

Mikaela Smith lead the Falcons with an RBI double and Rachael Kedl added two hits of her own.

Taylor Wilhite suffered the loss as she struck out four and walked nine on 11 hits. Vesey was the winning pitcher with three strikeouts and two walks.
