Notice to Contractors

Sealed Proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. on May 30, 2014 in Commissioner Room #3 of the Lyon County Governmental Center in Marshall, MN by E.J. Moberg, Lyon County Auditor/Treasurer on behalf of the Board of Commissioners for the following:

Phase 10A Landfill Cell Construction

Lyon County Sanitary Landfill

Comprising Approximately:

8-acre municipal solid waste landfill cell

Perimeter access road

Leachate management and landfill gas collection piping

Temporary sedimentation basin and erosion control features

Site fence extension

Leachate and landfill gas condensate pumps and controls

A pre-bid conference will be held at 1:00 p.m. on May 19, 2014, at the Lyon County Sanitary Landfill, 2025 200th Ave, Lynd, Minnesota 56157. Representatives of the County and Engineer will be present to discuss the project. BIDDERS are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference. This conference will conclude with a site walk through

All Proposals must be on forms provided in the Plans and Specifications. Sealed Bids shall be mailed to E.J. Moberg, Lyon County Auditor/Treasurer, 607 West Main Street, Marshall, MN 56258 and should be clearly marked as a sealed bid for “Phase 10A Landfill Cell Construction”. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to the Treasurer of Lyon County, for at least 5% of the amount on the Bid. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
