AMATEUR BASEBALL: Willmar defeats Granite Falls

GRANITE FALLS — Willmar got two RBI from Tanner Thunstadt and one each from Andrew Busch, Adam Fagerstrom, Josh Oestreich and Tyler Bower en route to an 8-4 victory over Granite Falls Wednesday night. Darin Ditterich picked up the win on the mound for the Rails, going four innings and striking out two while walking just one and giving up three runs on five hits.

Tyler Kanten took the loss for Granite Falls, pitching six innings while striking out four and walking two. He gave up five runs (three earned) on seven hits.

The Kilowatts were led offensively by Kanten and Dylan Lindstrom, who both had two RBI.
