Johnson earns degree from DMU

Des Moines University granted 539 degrees at its 2014 commencement ceremony, the 114th in the university’s history, May 24, at Hy-Vee Hall in the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines.

Laura Johnson received an M.S. in physician assistant program. She is the daughter of Paul and Lois Johnson of Marshall.

Area students named to DWU spring dean’s list

To qualify for the Dakota Wesleyan University, Mitchell, S.D. dean’s list, a student must have a semester grade point average of at least 3.5 on a four-point scale. They also have to complete at least 12 hours of academic work during the semester. The following students have been named to the dean’s list.

UW-Madison announces spring dean’s list

The University of Wisconsin-Madison has recognized students named to the dean’s list for the spring semester of the 2013-2014 academic year.

Students who achieve at a high level academically are recognized by the dean at the close of each semester. To be eligible for the dean’s list, students must complete a minimum of 12 graded degree credits in that semester.

Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical announces 2014 graduates

Minnesota State College – Southeast Technical announces the list of 2014 graduates.

Commencement ceremonies took place May 13 in Red Wing and May 14 in Winona.

Minnesota West announces spring semester 2014 dean’s list

Minnesota West Community and Technical College has released its spring semester 2014 dean’s list.

Area students receive degrees at ISU commencement

At Iowa State University’s spring commencement ceremonies, 4,021 students received degrees. Iowa State awarded 3,357 undergraduate degrees, 413 master’s degrees, 147 veterinary medicine degrees and 104 doctor of philosophy degrees.

Area students named to spring semester academic honors list at South Central

South Central College has released its president’s list of students with exceptional performance during spring semester 2014. The recognition is given to students in good academic standing who maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or better, while earning 12 credits or more during the semester period.
