Courts for June 6

MARSHALL – Nicole Rae Blanchard, 42, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court June 3 on charges of possession of stolen property. A complaint alleges Blanchard possessed a stolen check made out for more than $1,000 in Marshall on May 20. A hearing was set for June 17.

MARSHALL – Chueyee Her, 32, of Tracy, appeared in Lyon County District Court June 3 on charges of third degree driving while impaired – refusal to test, fourth degree driving while impaired, careless driving, failure to keep right on the roadway and failure to obey stop sign. A complaint alleges Her refused to take a chemical test in Tracy on Oct. 12. A hearing was continued to July 1.

MARSHALL – Gary Roy Westberg, 49, of Marshall, pleaded innocent in Lyon County District Court June 3 to charges of driving after cancellation – inimical to public safety. A complaint alleges Westberg drove with a canceled license in Marshall on Jan. 31. A trial was set for Aug. 8, and a pretrial hearing was set for July 29.

MARSHALL – Christopher Jerome Walker, 20, of Marshall, appeared in Lyon County District Court June 3 on charges of fourth degree assault, fleeing a peace officer, minor consumption and public consumption. A complaint alleges Walker ran from a peace officer and threw a bottle at the officer in Marshall on April 19. The court found probable cause for the charges, and a hearing was set for July 1.

MARSHALL – Armando Coronado, 38, of Willmar, pleaded guilty in Lyon County District Court June 3 to charges of third degree controlled substance crime, court records said. Coronado sold methamphetamines in Marshall on April 7, 2011, court records said. A sentencing hearing was set for July 1.

MARSHALL – Thomas Wayne Anderson, 45, of Marshall, pleaded guilty in Lyon County District Court June 3 to charges of unlawful use of license plates, court records said. Anderson drove a vehicle with expired license plates in Lyon County on Jan 15, court records said. A sentencing hearing was set for July 15.

MARSHALL – Thomas Wayne Anderson, 45, of Marshall, pleaded guilty in Lyon County District Court June 3 to charges of ineligible possession of a weapon and second degree controlled substance crime, court records said. Anderson possessed a handgun, two rifles and methamphetamines in Lyon County on Jan. 16, and has prior convictions for controlled substance crime, court records said. A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered, and a sentencing hearing was set for July 15.
