The Mudcats won Game one 3-2 in an eight-inning thriller. Connor Winkelmann went seven innings for Marshall, allowing two earned runs and striking out five Watertown batters. Nate Hoeft threw the final inning in relief duty, not allowing a single baserunner.

The Mudcats fell 4-3 in Game two, also in eight innings. Noah Winkelman went 3-for-3 with a double and a RBI in the win. Connor Winkelman went 2-for-3 from the plate. He added a RBI and a run scored.

Adam Kovash went all eight innings in the loss. He struck out four Watertown batters, and gave up four earned runs on four hits.

DAWSON-The n Drakes defeated Hancock 9-7 in amateur baseball Friday night. Esten Weber led the Drakes at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four RBI.

Cody Curry went 3-for-5. He drove in three RBI on a triple and two doubles.

Anthony Berreau picked up the win in relief duty. He pitched three innings, allowing two runs on four hits. He pitched in relief of Curry, who threw the first four innings.

MILROY -The Irish defeated Willmar 12-7 on Friday Tyler Peterson was 5-for-6 with two doubles to lead the Irish. Isaac Dolan added a double on a 3-for-3 night at the plate.

With the win, the Irish improve to 10-4 on the season. They travel to Jackson to play the Bulls Sunday.
