Notice of Abandoned Property

Notice is given that a silver, 2000 Pontiac Bonneville, VIN # 1G2HY54K3Y4270482, Minnesota license plate number 271JMG (the “property”), has been in the possession of the City of Marshall at the Marshall Police Department, 611 West Main Street, Marshall,

Minnesota 56258 for a period greater than six months and has not been removed by its owner. Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 345.75, this property is abandoned and shall become the property of the person or entity in possession after notice to the prior owner.

Any objections to the transfer of the ownership of the property must be made within twenty one (21) days from the first day of publication of this notice. If no objections are made within this time period, title will be transferred to the person or entity in possession of the property.

Notice is also given that (subject to Minn. Stat. 345.75) the prior owner or a person claiming an interest in the property may petition the district court where the property is located to stay the transfer of ownership for a reasonable period to allow the removal of the property. If such

petition is made, the transfer of ownership is stayed while the petition is pending before the court.

Any objections shall be made to the individual listed below.
