Hadley loses to Fairmont to end season

FAIRMONT- Hadley saw its season come to an end Monday night with a 9-0 loss to Fairmont.

Fairmont got a complete-game shutout from Sawyer Doocey, who finished with 11 strikeouts and walked just one batter while giving up six hits.

Adam Schmidt provided the bulk of the offense, finishing with four RBI and a double and batting 3-for-5.

The Martins also got RBI from Shaun McGuire, Dustin Sobolik, Ian Bentz and Jay Ruen.

Max Zwart had two hits while Nick Bruning, Taylor Rignell, Nate Wieneke and Joe Larson each had one for Hadley.

Hadley didn’t help itself defensively, committing four errors in the contest.

Colby Pack got the start on the mound and went 4 1-3 innings. He struck out one while allowing no walks and nine runs (four earned) on seven hits.
