Tigers game delayed due to lightning

BLUE EARTH- Marshall held a 28-7 lead over Blue Earth in the third quarter Friday night before lightning forced a delay in the action.

Nick Saugstad scored the final touchdown for the Tigers before the delay to make the score 28-7 on a four-yard reception.

Marshall got two scores in the second quarter via a two yard run from senior quarterback Brad Bahlmann and a 44-yard touchdown pass from Bahlmann to Sam Marshall as the Tigers took a 21-0 lead into the half.

Wide receiver Drew Hmielewski opened the scoring with a 45-yard touchdown on a screen pass.

Marshall went on to win by that score.
