Preparation for the match: “We will be working on recieving serves and serving.” – Coach TJ Wison

These two teams haven’t faced each other often. This is coach Tongen’s first year at LQPV and the team’s second year in the Camden Conference. They played once in 2013 with RTR taking the match in straight sets.

Preparation for the match: “Right now we need to worry about what we are doing with our ball control and our net play. If we can serve aggressive to slow their offense down that will help us.” – Coach Katie Davis

Worthington Trojans

Record: 0-3-0

Preparation for the match: 3 seniors, 8 juniors, 3 sophomores, 1 freshman

TMB isn’t letting Worthington’s lack of victories lull them into a sense of complacency. The two teams faced of this summer and it was a fairly even match. Worthington will have to work on scoring on TMB’s talented defense.

Minneota Vikings vs. Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks

Preparation for the match: “It’s still early in the season, so we’re still working on teh same things. We want to get better on and improve on. I’m expecting them to play really good defense and to serve well. They are going to keep a lot balls alive with their defense.” – Coach Stephanie Hennen

Dawson-Boyd Blackjacks:

Preparation for the match: “Our plan is to play our game and have control of the momentum. We know that they are going to hit and get their kills but If we do what we do best which is serving aggressive and playing great defense, we should be able to keep control of the game. ” -Coach Ashley Dahl

This matchup looks to be a competitive one as Dawson-Boyd looks to stay unefeated against last year’s Camden Conference champ. Minneota is coming off of two straight set victories against Camden Conference opponents.
